For their project for a new neighbourhood in Hoofddorp, Timpaan invited us to craft a piece that illustrates how landscape, architecture, and mobility intertwine and are connected to form a plan that is energy-neutral and designed to grow over time. The key challenge of this model was showcasing the diversity of the plan, the different architectural designs and how the landscape carries its own identity while binding all elements together.

Each architectural design was carefully modelled and printed to showcase the concepts set by the architects. At the same time, the landscape character and different types of greenery were important to be clearly visible and show their growth in between the buildings, without compromising their access.

Small in scale but big in meaning, this maquette was a part of the competition entry of Timpaan. The team ended up winning the proposal, and we are proud to have helped in that conquest!
